Kinsale boat HARPY is a  43' aquastar and she plys daily, weather permitting, on Angling charters, wildlife tours and dive trips from Kinsale harbour. Her length offers great space - even for the maximum 12 passengers and all their equipment allowed by an Irish P5 license. This boat is fast and comfortable and fully licensed by the Department of Marine to "P5" standard - defined as safe to operate up to 30 nautical miles from port - Kinsale.

Built nearby in Kinsale, Ireland, these boats are especially suited for deep sea angling, diving and wildlife tours in Irish  waters. HARPY will take you to the fishing grounds and back in comfort and safety and at speed.

With an island wheelhouse, Kinsale boat HARPY offers almost all her  length on both sides for anglers or divers equipment - that is almost 90' of space. Inside the headed cabin all electronic equipment is present. Away from the cabis is a separate toilet.

  • Side scan sonar: Another wreck searching tool. HARPY has two - a low frequency sonar for distant wreck searches and secondly a triple-frequency sonar for homing in on detail and small lost items.
  • ROV: SeaLion Remotely operated vehicle  with CCTV  camera, 6 thrusters, 4x100w lights, compass & depth sensors. Rated to 500' depth.
